Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
Toptal has been using BlueJeans for a while now as its primary tool for its hiring process. As a design screener in the design vertical of the company, I'm using BlueJeans as the primary way of contacting and interviewing candidates all over the world, making use of all functionalities available.
- Seamless integration with Google Calendar.
- Recording function and the fact that there's verbal feedback when the recording has started.
- Friendly user interface.
- Constantly experiencing audio issues, having to move to different tools to keep the meetings going on.
- More face to face conversations.
- Recordings are now available to all companies, instead of locally in one's computer, making it easy to access in case of dispute or any other scenario where it needs to be played back.
- Zoom and Google Hangouts
BlueJeans performs better than Google Hangouts. In terms of connectivity, features, user interface, I personally prefer BlueJeans. Although, when comparing to Zoom, I believe that - even though Zoom has a more complicated user interface to get accommodated with during first interactions - it's more reliable. Never experienced any audio or video issue; for example, whether in BlueJeans, I constantly had to switch to Zoom since both ends of the meeting were not able to communicate.
