Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans

BlueJeans is used across the organization. Most employees in the corporate offices globally leverage it quite a lot for daily meetings and conference calls. Hotel senior management also has an individual account each to host meetings with the corporate offices. Solves the issue for multi-party/big group tele/video conferences.
  • Big group conferences
  • Sharing PPTs
  • Webinars
  • Integration with the company calendar is less intuitive.
  • Mute function by host does not apply for participants that joined later.
  • Lags experienced during screen sharing.
  • Money saved on travel.
  • Money saved on conference calls.
  • Better ability to host large scale/group meetings.
Teams is better with integration of the entire Microsoft ecosystem, the calendar can be sent directly through email/Outlook vs. having to set it up separately at BlueJeans. BlueJeans also has issues with dial-ins from mainland China (no direct dial-in numbers). But the software is easy to install and very intuitive to use.
The software is well suited for any size of group webinars and conference calls, esp. big groups. However, bandwidth and stability of the internet are a big challenge, esp. in places with less mature network infrastructure. Also, the software is less well suited for screen sharing where timing is important (screen vs. voice).
