Overall Satisfaction with CCH® SureTax®
SureTax was integrated in 2018 to provide tax calculations for 18 states we carried nexus in and has continued to be our software as we have grown to 36 states of drop ship nexus. The software integrates with NetSuite to provide real time calculations of sales tax based on zip code. We use the SureTax reporting each month to file tax returns in each location.
- Fast Support - Easy to Reach
- Always provides correct sales tax rates
- Easy to use UI, geographic map with nexus thresholds make for ease of visibility, thresholds set to email to admin when close on transaction count or revenue into new states
- NetSuite integration is clunky, does not feed into native fields as renders some features useless
- Pricing increase after 3 year contract was astronomical, were able to negotiate however.
- Implementation should have been better tested by all parties, resulted in amending multiple returns. However, we did have a very tight timeline to integrate.
- Continues to fill the need for item mapping, customer exemption and detailed calculations.
- Cost continues to be large reason we stay, when compared to Avalara.
