Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is being used across the organization - we have implemented several modules including Payroll, Comp, Benefits, Recruiting, etc. We will be rolling out further modules in the near future including on-boarding and performance management. We have been using Ceridian Dayforce for about 4 years. It has helped us in achieving uniform processes across the company.
- Payroll - very comprehensive and able to customize
- Employee Self Service - very intuitive and easy to use for all generations of users
- Recruiting module is also intuitive for supervisors to use.
- Customer Service - issues cannot be addressed immediately and require putting in a service ticket that can take quite some time to get dealt with.
- Customization - it seems most customizations are labor intensive and incur additional costs - very difficult to do simple customizations from the user's end without paying extra.
- Language barriers - as a non-technical professional, I often feel when I am assigned a representative to assist with a problem we are not able to properly communicate as they only understand "computer speak" and I don't.
- We have not done these calculations yet.
- In our benefits module, we have seen a huge reduction in paper forms through the use of open enrollment and certain other online benefits transactions.
When set up properly, it streamlines EEO and VETS reporting and PPACA. Payroll taxes and overtime are also streamlined. We have no unions.
I can't say Ceridian Dayforce has impacted our decision about hiring, scheduling or comp. It has impacted some of our policies as we look to implement future modules such as performance management since we have a uniform platform that we can use to roll out changes to the entire company.
Less time working on integration and modifying systems to meet other system limitations. It has also gotten all our employees (from front line to Executives) familiar with Dayforce so when future modules are rolled out there is less training required (such as when we just rolled out the Compensation module for annual increases).
