Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

We use Cisco Jabber for internal Instant Messaging, presence, and voice endpoints both on internal devices and external devices. It allows us to take and return calls while out of the office and use our desk number instead of advertising our cell number.
  • Simplifies calling numbers from the desktop.
  • Allows office numbers to be carried outside the office.
  • Allows you to see if others are available.
  • n/a
  • When current desk phone needs replacement, we deploy a desktop Jabber client which eliminates the cost of the replacement phone.
  • Speeds up connection with others by knowing if they are available.
We selected Jabber because we had Cisco's Call Manager and it integrated seamlessly. We didn't consider other options.
