Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur Travel and Expense is used throughout our company to book travel and file expense reports for any company expenses. It's used across the entire company as a central place to manage all company travel and expense reimbursement. It makes it very simple to get reimbursed for expenses incurred during the course of business as well as book travel, all in one centralized location. App integration also makes it easy to upload your receipts as soon as you get them, instead of worrying about misplacing them.

Our company card is connected to Concur Travel and Expense. This way, when we use our company card, the transaction already shows up within Concur Travel and Expense. As a result, when you go to create your expense report, you just need to select the expenses that apply to that specific report, categorize them as needed, attach receipts, and you're all set.
I think the most innovative features are the app integration and card linking. Being able to open the app and scan a receipt as soon as you get it is a fantastic feature, because for many people it's difficult to keep track of all your receipts, especially when traveling. Also, by having the transactions on your card automatically pull in to Concur, its way easier to tie your receipt to a specific transaction and make sure you aren't forgetting any expenses.
As mentioned previously, it makes it way easier to pull all your expenses together in one report and submit them at once. My boss can then easily view my report and approve it. Also, the ability to just manage all your travel booking and expenses in one program makes business travel, which can already be stressful, much easier to manage and keep organized.
Concur Travel and Expense is hands down a great program to simplify employee expense reports and booking. I think it works well because of how large our company is and how frequently people are traveling for work, especially salespeople (pre-COVID, that is!). This being said, Concur Travel and Expense may not be as well suited or cost effective for smaller companies with fewer travel/company expenses.
