Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight
For our organization, iProspect, we use Conductor to track keywords and do competitive analysis with page insights. I know the platform is used throughout our entire US offices (NYC, Chicago, Fort Worth, San Diego). The business problems that it helps is pulling the data for keyword rankings along with market share (share of voice), page insights against competitors and tracking a page group (i.e. Sponsor Players from my client).
- Pulling monthly keyword data to enable in our current reports.
- Adding grouped pages for "sponsored players" to see how they are during their season. (Whether it's a football, basketball, golf, baseball, etc...) It helps me grasp how their "sponsored player" is comparing to their specific sport.
- Using the market share to see how other SEO competitors are doing in the landscape.
- One of the features that could be used is something like their competitor, for Data Cube.
- On a different platform that was pitched yesterday, it was awesome to see where "content writers" publish specific content "life insurance agent" into articles for Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, etc...
- In addition, they showed some key features across several countries that was very nice.
- Conductor's best feature is their customer service team. They respond to emails well ahead of the industry, and it's a huge component of why I like them the most.
- Since I've never personally done an ROI with Conductor or any other company it's hard to tell. (Good topic for the team to look into!)
Currently, I am using BrightEdge that is one of their biggest competitors. The reason we choose Conductor is because of the leader's preference, and I choose Conductor when possible. (Sometimes the client buys a different platform so I must use that one instead.) Overall both deliver similar information and it's based on the team lead's preference.
