What is Sales Acceleration?

Sales Acceleration software speeds up sales by automating administrative tasks and streamlining sales processes. They are designed with the goal of increasing sales velocity. This is similar to, but slightly different from, the goal of Sales Enablement software, which focuses more on sales behavior and equipping salespeople with quality materials, quality opportunities, and best practices. There is certainly crossover between Sales Enablement and Sales Acceleration; many products bundle features of both, and some vendors use these terms interchangeably. In general, Sales Acceleration is a strategic initiative to have more sales conversation, shorten the sales cycle, and/or close more deals.

Components of a Sales Acceleration Strategy

Sales Acceleration software usually fall into one or more of the following categories, depending on which tasks and processes they aim to make more efficient.
