Overall Satisfaction with Conga Composer

We use Conga Composer for simple document production. Our Conga instance is imbedded in our Salseforce platform, and is very useful for generating specific documents we need to produce for our donors. For example, we generate invoices and acknowledgments to our donors on an individual ad-hoc basis, and we are able to send them via email to our constituents. This saves time and also allows us to operate with a smaller printing budget.

Overall it is fairly easy to integrate and use. I do think that the process of creating the templates and making sure they are mapped correctly with the fields could be a bit more straightforward and easy to understand.
Instead of opening Word templates and merging data into them, we can easily produce one off letters as they come in. This is more efficient as the turn around time for sending documents is faster. Additionally, we don't wait to accumulate a certain number of things to be printed or merged before sending acknowledgments. It has definitely improved our overall workflow.

Conga Composer is well suited for individual one off creation of certain documents. It doesn't seem to be as well suited for bulk data needs, at least not with the version that my organization is subscribed for.
