Overall Satisfaction with Conga Composer
The generation of documents in Salesforce requires code. Conga Composer enabled us to configure the look and feel of the document through a Word template. We used it to generate customer-facing documents like quotes, offers and business proposals. We might use to generate letters as well
- Different document types like pdf, doc etc.
- Option to edit template in MS Word
- It is slow to generate document
- It is very complex to prepare data
- Administration is not straightforward, there are a lot of places where something needs to be configured
- Limited options for processing of data once it is retrieved from Salesforce
- Cumbersome formatting of tables and nested tables
- Limitations around table generation
- A lot of features are paid add-ons
- Fewer errors compared to manual creation of documents
- No need to do code change when format changes
