Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Sell (formerly Quosal)

We have been using Sell for years now, we have come off of QuoteWerks. We moved to Sell because Connectwise purchase sell several years ago and it also integrated into Quick Books. Sell front end and quoting system works fine and not a lot of issues, the backend purchasing side of things has been riddled with problems. Connectwise purchased sell from qual awhile back and then Connectwise got acquired, the support for this product is poor, Connectwise always to me has always been poor when coming to support for their product. They do have chat support that does get online quickly but chat does not do remote shadow support so things seem to take longer. If the chat can not fix the issue they open a support ticket, the response from their support is about 4 to 5 days if you badger them, first they send you an electronic mail that usually hits your spam, they hardly ever pick up the phone and call you directly. Connectwise provides help desk software, it's puzzling why their support is so poor.

  • Electronic Sign off is easy
  • The install support team was good
  • Support, Call back in the Same Day like your competitors DO
  • When asked to talk with a manager, have a manger call back
  • Hire more support to lower your response time
  • Lots of waisted time creating support tickets with no response
  • My purchaser is so frustrated she had to take time off
  • Complaining to your representative really has no effect
Most likely we are moving to QuoteWerks, they answer the phone when you call them for support. I tested their support last week and within 5 minutes I had a live tech on the phone.

It's all good until you error out, I have two issues into Connectwise that are "known issues", which means they know about the issue but may not fix it. Good luck with that.
I have been in business for 30 years, we have about 30 vendors we have worked with or more. Connectwise is on the bottom, if you ask any MSP how you loose clients the fastest, it's all about response and support. Connectwise has not found that out yet.
Connectwise Manage performs well, I would wait some years till either they work the bugs out of the sell or support the product better. I would not recommend purchasing sell with the daily issues it causes us.
