Overall Satisfaction with Copyscape
We currently use a variety of proofreading and plagiarism tools for our clients. As we're churning out new marketing content, we use Copyscape to track if anyone else is using our content on the web.
- Offers a variety of forms of tracking (web, pdf, etc)
- Avoids content duplication on your own domain
- Scalable solutions for tracking across the web
- UX/UI & Interface - feels a little outdated
- Their free checker sometimes doesn't catch known instances
- Copysentry - scanning for content theft - this is huge for us and something all clients battle, especially within eCommerce
- We sometimes [use] Copyscape for third-party outsourced content to ensure we're not using copyrighted materials
- It's more an insurance for us against potential negative impacts
- Positively, it helps protect ourselves, our clients and our third party providers
