Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

Our department is third party-planners so we use Cvent Event Management for our client's registration websites. We build and manage their events from start to finish with Cvent. With this platform we are able to market the event on behalf of our clients, collect and manage their registration data, and then provide reports that actually help our clients under their ROE.
  • Reporting and post event attendee feedback
  • Onsite services, specifically the OnArrival suite
  • Their app crowd compass
  • Their newest program role-out is Flex, a brand new way to design the registration sites. Unfortunately it has taken much longer than anticipated to release and it still does not offer all of the updates promised.
  • Feedback surveys make it clearer to understand what the attendees want out of the events.
  • With Cvent it takes much less time to organize and collect the data needed for each event. No more triple checking multiple Excel spreadsheets to make sure we noted a food allergy or the preferred badge name of an attendee.
Cvent Event Management is an excellent tool to use for medium to large events. It is especially great for events that require hotels and flights because it integrates with Passkey and Concur. On the other hand, the newest version of Flex does not have the travel module fully integrated yet so the old build version is still needed. Cvent also has an infinite number of reporting capabilities, IF you know how to build and pull the reports that is.

If you have a larger event where payment is required, I'd recommend using Cvent. Their payment gateway is easy to set up and manage.
