Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
For Gardner & Co. I use it daily for our client files. For Harmony Inc and My chorus I use it as a storage for planning and sharing documents. Gardner & Co is a professional consulting (speaking) and education; Harmony Inc is a non-profit and volunteer organization with users across the US & Canada.
- Store items that I can access in day-to-day setting, collaborating with my team
- Access with browser or with file explorer
- Share documents (with versioning) with team members
- The refresh rate can be different based upon your operating system and access. This can be frustrating when you are working with a team member, or on a document at the same time.
- Cost - We don't have to maintain servers (we are very small company)
- My senior leadership works all over the world and their access at a minutes notice is essential.
- Versioning has allowed us to find documents (even restoring) saving us hours of time re-creating documents
The decision was by my leadership. However, I would be willing to believe ease of use, and availability are the reasons. We are a seriously lean/small team and this was the best ROI for the team.
