Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for file-level backups, SQL backups, VM level-backups, Cloud Apps under both their Insync and Phoenix offerings. Jumping between one UI to the other is pretty straightforward and supported by comprehensive documentations. The biggest problem it addresses is us not having to do on-prem backups anymore that we were doing with our previous vendor.
  • The data gets backed up even when the end user is working remotely.
  • The Druva Data Resiliency Cloud client doesn't interfere with the user's primary work.
  • Support is always available even on weekends.
  • Some new reports could be introduced.
  • Some alerts cannot be muted and feel a bit like spam.
  • Some backups can take longer than usual.
  • We are pretty confident against threats like ransomware thanks to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud.
  • It has saved us a lot of time and money by moving away from the hardware requirements.
  • We need much fewer admins to manage our backup environment now.
We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud to protect a multitude of workloads, including the Office environment of SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online and OneDrive. These are easy to manage and set policies for, we see the complete breakdown of data from each of these components that it getting backed up, the recent status, and all essential info related to our backups. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud handles it seamlessly.
In the past two years of using Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, we started small and have been continuously increasing the size of both our backup data and the number of workloads- we haven't noticed any issues anytime in terms of speed or stability of backups and we're confident that Druva Data Resiliency Cloud can meet our future scalability expectations comfortably as well.
Barracuda was quite difficult to manage in the long term because of their on-prem requirements, they would often send us damaged hardware which caused us a lot of backup issues for weeks in many cases. Thanks to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud offering, we don't have to worry about such issues anymore since everything is going on the AWS cloud.

It is suited for environments where a lot of critical data needs to be backed up and retained. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud's long term retention offering is also excellent that saves money and credits in the long term. Maybe not the best suited for the environment where the backups need to be on a server within the on-prem environment.
