Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

We are adopting the use of Dynatrace within our organization. It is being used other places within the enterprise. We're looking to expand its role in DevOps, batch process automation and monitoring and custom metrics reporting.
  • Easily integrate with a large array of products.
  • Proactive monitoring through self-discovery.
  • The AI-driven analytics is amazing.
  • Better navigation menus.
  • Integration with Mulesoft and Apigee, not just limit to Data Power. The strategic partnership with IBM may be a handicap in this.
  • Make some parts of it open source to allow faster adoption.
  • Great value
  • Somewhat expensive to bootstrap
  • Steep learning curve
Much better. We have used (and continue to use) tools like New Relic, etc. but they do not provide the ease of instrumentation.
1. Excellent support to help us understand the value the product brings, but needs improvements in providing support for its deployment. This is not a trivial software to install (intial). Installation should be part of the cost.
