Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

The application development organization within IT primarily uses Dynatrace to gain visibility into the technology health and react to issues. This helps the teams proactively address impending issues.
  • Ease of installation and initial setup.
  • Great customer service and active account executives.
  • There have been instances of high resource consumption but was addressed quickly.
  • Additional configuration needed.
  • Immediate understanding of the dependencies between systems.
Compared to other vendors, the Dynatrace sales team was very responsive and was able to set up demos and POC quickly.
Support through JIRA is very responsive but more frequent phone support would be efficient.

Dynatrace has been very useful for application/user session monitoring. The IT Operations team still need other specialized products to monitor infrastructure.
