Overall Satisfaction with EMS Software

I use EMS to book rooms in our conference center and it is also used throughout the whole organization to book rooms in other parts of the office.

Helps us book rooms more efficiently.
  • We rarely run in to any conflicts while using EMS which is great for an organization that uses conference rooms regularly.
  • There are numerous reports you can run to keep organized. Reports for catering, AV equipment needed, more tables, chairs, etc...
  • Adrienne at EMS is always quick at responding and helping us troubleshoot any issues we may run in to.
  • Although the reports can be very detailed, sometimes we need them to be more simple for quick and easy reading.
  • We had issues with our panels with people checking in and it kicking them out of the room regardless.
  • People can easily book rooms through the EMS plug-in but it has issues cancelling sometimes without 2-way sync leaving a conference room booked when it is not.
  • Mac users can not easily use the app.
I did not choose EMS, I came in after it was chosen for our company but it has been very positive after working out the kinks of choosing new software. I think EMS is User friendly and there are always ways to make things better. Always someone there to help troubleshoot a problem.
This tool is working well for the types of events we book and use our conference center for.
For someone that isn’t too techy EMS could be a little intimidating. Booking events has been just about right but the reports can be complex at times.
Well-suited for a large conference center area with many requests from users. It would be great to 2-way sync in Outlook and EMS. I could see that being an issue in some companies.

Using EMS Software

2000 - Eveeyrthing, coordinator, assistant, manager, supervisor, director.
5 - a few people have been to the conference and we have someone from EMS do training twice a year or so.
  • Booking conference rooms
  • cancelling conference room
  • adding catering details on large events
  • Booking multiple meetings on the back end without having glitches
  • charging people for catering in the downstairs restaurant
  • charging people for rooms
We have had numerous glitches when booking meetings on the front end and back end. Things have gotten better so hopefully it keeps going that way.
