Overall Satisfaction with EMS Software

[It's] Used by the entire college for events and room scheduling; specifically used through the registrar's office for class scheduling purposes.
  • Easy to view details of room assignments (class size etc.)
  • No double bookings (unless notified so you can fix)
  • Easy to integrate
  • Coding conflicts, shared meeting times
  • Communication for conflicts/academic bumps
  • Non-rolling
  • Negative - room conflicts; takes days to sort out
  • Positive - quick sync/integration - time/day changes can be seen instantly after a sync
  • Easy to differentiate if conflict is due to another class or event - allows user to contact appropriate person/office
Just started using EMS in my role, so this was something I came into...
Improvements can be made to maximize scalability
Seems as though EMS will work with you through this. I have not been working with EMS long enough to see just how extensive this is.
Integration between a student system and EMS for room scheduling purposes. While it is a long process to weed out room conflicts, because these are not automatic through EMS, it is nice to have the 'sync' feature that can update immediately.
