Overall Satisfaction with ETO by Social Solutions

Our organization uses ETO in order to track participant data, including demographics, and manage case management. This includes all participant contacts, location services, anonymous contacts, and outcomes management. We are able to track participants that are enrolled in multiple service areas and unique outcomes for each program area and share select information across our entire organization.

  • Some desired changes take Social Solutions a long time to process, if at all
  • We have been able to report clean data to our funders
  • Advanced outcome reporting allows us to seek additional funds
  • A solid database allows staff to spend less time on data entry
Many similar products have a very high price point of entry. The financial investment is greater with other options that I've looked at in the last few years. ETO is additionally more customizable to your organization's unique needs. However, the customer service at Social Solutions can sometimes be lacking in basic areas of account management and billing.
I think if an organization is dedicated to providing the investment, both financially and with human capital, then they can be successful. It takes a lot of time, both in planning and in training, in order to build a system and get staff onboard to effectively use all the features that are included in the system. If an organization is relatively small, the software may be more than what the organization needs, or if an organization is not able to invest in time and money then they will not have a successful implementation.
