Overall Satisfaction with geoSCOUT
geoSCOUT is used in our daily geology workflow to gather information on currently producing and new wells and to understand competitor activity. Several departments are using geoSCOUT for research purposes and for understanding proximity to infrastructure.
- Well ticket information.
- Spatial analysis.
- Query effectiveness.
- Must have several geoSCOUT windows open at once (well ticket, main screen, others if using).
- Allowed for efficient information gathering thereby decreasing turnaround time on projects.
- Helpful for competitor analysis.
Accumap and geoSCOUT are similar but geoSCOUT is my preferred application. The usability and functionality of the application is much better than Accumap. Although not necessarily important, it is a more aesthetically appealing interface to work with.
