Overall Satisfaction with GitLab
GitLab is used for all the repositories management in our product team, all the dev , and qa , and devops repos arr managed in GitLab. It is also used for ci and cd purpose. The pipelines in GitLab are used for automated testing of the new build and all pushes to the GitLab branches.

Although GitLab lacks some indexing service but it is well suited for big enterprises users for version control and ci/ cd pipeline. The user interface of GitHub is much better than GitLab. The search functionality of GitLab is far better than GitHub along multiple projects. The documentation part wiki is also useful in GitLab.
The authentication is done through GitLab personal access token which work flawless.
This is the main feature our team uses for day to day activities. All the projects are made in GitLab and their version control is done in GitLab only. all the branches are made in GitLab and merge requests process fleo from creation to review is done in GitLab. Auro pipelines are also triggered in GitLab.
