Overall Satisfaction with IBM Watson Media's Video Streaming

It was simple to implement, we were up and running with 15 minutes of signing up for our account.
The interface is pretty simple to use, there are some clunky things when you have multiple channels, but other wise very efficient to navigate.
We use Ustream to broadcast live events for our corporate clients to their end users. We have streamed live events to audiences from as small as 50 users to over 10,000 users over the past five years. We typically stream 2-5 events per month, and have appreciated the ease of use Ustream offers our clients and technicians both.

Pros

  • Ease of use in setup of client channels
  • Ease of use in connecting and managing streams
  • Ease of use in publishing live content for later use

Cons

  • There is really not much we are currently unhappy with.
It allows us to have a value added solution to use with our clients who ask to add a streaming component.

It has been a great platform to use for our live streamed corporate clients. It is easy for the end users to connect and view the content.

This platform was much more straight forward and did not require additional software vendors to implement.
