Overall Satisfaction with IBM Instana
I use IBM Instana to monitor our production workloads running in on-prem Kubernetes.
- Mapping and visualizing the entire infrastructure
- Alerting when things go wrong
- Kubernetes monitoring
- ChatOps with Slack integration
- One thing we needed once is seeing JVM-related metrics for our production workloads to investigate a memory leak. We expected better tooling from IBM Instana for this.

- Positive: It's the first thing we look into when we have any incident. It also helped us to reduce the number of incidents we have.
