Overall Satisfaction with Ideagen Quality Management

I use Ideagen Quality Management to share and collaborate on coffee and chocolate specifications for a large customer. We supply them with over 50 different consistent products and offer them 'one offs' of special, micro-sized lots. Ideagen Quality Management's excellent website means that I can present the technical and provenance information necessary to give them a clear view of the products I offer them, and in a way, it is also a useful sales tool and a good way of comapring similar products to each other.
  • Gives easily understood, technically correct specifications for food and drink
  • Guides the user sensibly through the various aspects of the creation of the completed food or drink specification
  • Gives excellent back up and telephone support in their customer service centre.
  • Small glitches in copying specs from one product to another - sometimes the system does not pull through one or two answers, meaning the document has to be checked carefully to find where the missed answers are before submission is possible.
  • I use this on behalf of a customer, so they have paid any fees.
  • It has had a positive effect on my relationships with the customer's technical team.

Would you buy Ideagen Quality Management again?

Yes

Ideagen is great for collaboration on technical food specifications - very good for sharing! It can be used wherever there is a good speed internet connection, and the site is good at recovering should data become interrupted. It may be overly complex for single-ingredient foods, but is a robust and clear way of working out specifications.
