Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this product to underpin all of our radiotracer production compliance requirements (10-20 users). Documents regarding production, change controls and risk assessments are all stored within Ideagen Quality Management's document database to ensure we have a consistent auditable document trail. Ideagen Quality Management has a high level of customisability and very granular permissions which means we could make it fit around our processes.

Pros and Cons

Support - the product has great phone and email-based support from a team of knowledgeable people
Customisablity - the product lets you build custom workflows, has a high level of granularity on permissions, etc.
Robust and reliable software- the software is dependable once set up

Antiquated configuration methods, text files with no real streamlining
Very unintuitive user interface, not 'pick up and use' software
Poor mobile and website versions on our version (7.1.4)

Return on Investment

We aren't a profit lead unit but the software has so far given value for money.

Seems very capable at document control but you need to put the time in to get the most out of it as software. Definitely not 'fire and forget' software but there is a lot of support at hand so as long as you are using this you will be able to apply Ideagen to your workflows with confidence.
