Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

- conduct brainstorming for features. we use InVision Freehand's brainstorm templates. love those templates. I invite eng design operations making to a brainstorm session and then follow the templates during the session. it's easy to use. - designers use InVision Freehand to design features. I don't really how exactly designers use them tho. - we include InVision Freehand links to Jira tkts
  • conduct brainstorm
  • sharing designs with stakeholders
  • design review
  • designers told me the design tool is harder to use than Figma
  • i personally think that invision's freehand tool is actually easier to use than Figma's
  • maybe you can add more stickers? tbh i am pretty happy with what you offer
  • templates
  • boxes
  • texts
  • positive: allowed people to come together to brainstorm
  • negative: slowed down design process
  • positive: ok for quick mockups done by PMs
I personally like InVision Freehand better than Figma because the templates are better and the tools are easier to use. specifically, InVision Freehand's boxes are easier to drag and text is easier to format. so this is why I choose InVision Freehand over Figma. but our company now has decided to all use Figma since designers like Figma more for product design

well suited for brainstorms; group sessionless appropriate for mock-ups. I have tried to use freehand for quick mock-ups but it was a bit hard to use the sense that I can't make a box to look like a button; so it's too basic; maybe a bit more features for mockups will be nice.
