Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro
We use Jamf Pro to manage roughly 3300 student and staff devices, we have about 1500 students and 150 staff and each have 2 devices. Jamf Pro makes it extremely easy to manage and set permissions for all our devices. it also allows us to effortlessly deploy apps to 1500 students within just a few seconds and run remote commands on their computer. We currently have a data sheet that runs speedtests on all our students computers everyday and provides us with a sheet on which students have poor internet and also tells us their ISP
Pros
- Easy to deploy policies and apps
- Easy to lock lost/stolen devices and set up a password to unlock it remotely
Cons
- can be a little complicated at times to set things up
- large learning curve to find how it operates
- can be a little overwhelming at times with the amount of options you have
