Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am responsible for invoicing customers and entering invoices from vendors using JobBOSS². I also track vendor payments and write out checks. I am responsible for uploading material certifications into the repository as well. I generally handle all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll tasks.

Pros and Cons

Tracking time on jobs/machines
Billing is fairly easy to send out

Financial reports are hard to export to a user friendly version
Multiple reports are needed to be ran to get comparison data

Return on Investment

Positive: JobBOSS² is great for tracking and holding material certifications in one place.

All-in-One Platform

Thanks to JobBOSS², we are able to be basically paperless.

Alternatives Considered

Sage 100 Contractor

At my previous employer, we used Sage 100 Contractor, however, the accounting side of JobBOSS² is much more user-friendly.

For estimating and job tracking, JobBOSS² does quite well. However, on the financial/accounting side of things, there is a lot to be desired.
