Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI
Widgets are used within Microsoft SharePoint, as a replacement to InfoPath forms. Used across entire organization to display dynamic forms using the SharePoint REST API.
- KendoSpreadsheet provides Excel look to web pages.
- KendoGrid provides a way to display views more dynamically than SharePoint OOTB.
- Other widgets make for a better responsive web page within SharePoint.
- Kendo Charting API makes web page pop with visual information.
- Some widgets require additional DOM manipulation to get the look & feel desired.
Kendo works better in SharePoint.
Upgrading Kendo UI
Yes - Yes and fixed known issues.
- Fixes existing written code; eliminating limitation previous versions may have had.
- That is unknown until testing next release.
