- In the past month, we have responded to over 500 reported emails. Previously this would have required highly manual processes for investigating, blocking, quarantining, or returning to user, but thanks to KnowBe4 PhishER this process is now highly automated and has gone from multiple processes in multiple systems to just a few clicks in one.
- This increase in efficiency allows us to free up IT resources, it now takes just one person to respond to emails a few minutes each day instead of multiple team members monitoring an inbox.
- Additionally, built-in automation gives us confidence that we can respond to reported emails on our own schedule, instead of needing to constantly be vigilant for high-risk malicious emails that we need to act on immediately.
- The ability to quarantine emails has been incredibly helpful, this was not functionality we had before, but now we can quickly remove malicious emails from everyone's inbox. In one instance, we had an email land in over 80 inboxes, which we removed just a few minutes after it was delivered.
Thanks to the built-in machine learning features, KnowBe4 PhishER has greatly increased our ability to identify and respond to reported emails. For example, we will automatically mark high-confidence phishing emails as malicious and begin the process to block the sender and quarantine the email from all mailboxes. The reverse is true, and it also helps us identify clean email that can safely be returned to the user. Thanks to these features, responding to reported emails takes a fraction of the time it previously did.
We have implemented the PhishML, PhishRIP, and PhishER blocklist.
The combination of these features allows us to proactively respond to reported emails significantly faster and easier, reducing the number of personnel required to monitor reported emails, and improves end-user satisfaction because we can quickly return clean emails to them.
We selected KnowBe4 PhishER due to its cost efficiency and integration with our existing KnowBe4 platform. These integrations we felt were very advantageous to our on-going security training program. Additionally, we felt that the cost efficiency was very much worth it considering the time saved and the security benefits in our environment.
