Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

I used a lot of scanning and editing pdf (including organizing the order, deleting and extracting pages). Kofax Power PDF has a good ribbon layout for these daily functions. It also has a great form making tool that was really useful in my workflow, generating fillable questionnaires.
  • Combining multi-document types into a PDF file. Printing to a PDF file from Microsoft Word. Writing and highlighting PDFs. Reducing the size of PDFs. Placing a digital signature of PDFs.
  • There is an error on Windows 11 where printing to a PDF file from Internet Brower does not work. Sometimes, the program needs to be relaunched because it shows an error message of "a file error has occurred." Combining functions crashes sometimes when including an image. I wish that tabs could come in rows so that I can see all open files, instead of scrolling with a left or right button.
  • It comes at a good pricing; it does not come with a whole suite of unnecessary apps likes its competitors. It functions relatively fast with dozens of files open. I think Kofax Power PDF's Mac version is a bit behind compared to its Windows version, so I had to get a refund on my Mac.
It has a good layout and an intuitive menu system. Its search function is also great at finding out the function I need. I especially like having extract, rotate, and converting document ribbons.
I have used Adobe PDF, but its tier system is a bit confusing. And it requires installing other apps that I do not necessarily need in my workflow.

Making PDF searchable really saved my time when reviewing dozens of pages in PDF, its conversion is really quick and accurate.
