Overall Satisfaction with Lessonly

We use Lessonly to train our high volume sales teams. We use it when they join as a new hire and for continuous development as well. Right now, it's only for the 1 department and plan to span it over more in the future. Before Lessonly, our training documents were rarely updated and spread across multiple systems. This is a great way to have our training information in one user-friendly system.

Pros

  • User friendly. Little training needed to use the system
  • Helps with specific lessons and the workflow is engaging
  • The Lessonly content and articles are extremely helpful too

Cons

  • Nothing really. It's on us that we don't use it to its full potential. It's hard for sales people to balance cranking out phone calls and taking a moment to go through Lessonly modules
  • It has taken hours off the Sales Manager to do one-off manual training. We can easily set someone up on Lessonly modules and the employee can self pace study from there.
Our account management team is very helpful and engaging. That is one of my favorite parts of Lessonly. They are always recommending ways we can gain more engagement and find value.
We used them for different reasons but from what I understand Lessonly was much more user-friendly and intuitive.
It's well suited when the teams hire at a high volume. Probably not as useful if the team doesn't hire often and/or if the role doesn't change on a regular basis. It's also great for teams that have high visibility since team members can see other people's progress. Our tech savvy employees enjoy it because it's very easy to use.
