We use Lessonly to educate our external customers and other departments also use Lessonly for internal certifications and onboarding.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Provides an easy-to-use interface.
Technical Support is outstanding. Quick response and follow-through on resolutions.

Cons

Reporting needs to be improved and more flexible.
Would like to see a way to easily segregate lessons between departments.

Return on Investment

We were able to decrease our instructor-led training by half. This frees up the instructor to develop more classes.
Because other departments can create their own lessons and paths, Lessonly has helped us reduce the need for additional headcount.

The support team at Lessonly is the most responsive, friendly and helpful support team I have ever worked with. They are so willing to help and if a solution is not yet in the system, they will work directly with their engineers to ensure the issue gets fixed. And if the resolution is a potential enhancement, they will work with their product teams to enter the request on our behalf. And once the solution is in place, they follow up and ensure their customers are satisfied.

Alternatives Considered

Articulate Storyline

I was just about to invest in Articulate Storyline when I discovered Lessonly. Articulate does allow for more interactive programming, but Lessonly is so easy to use. It allows us to produce twice the amount of content for our customers in half the time.

Likelihood to Recommend

Lessonly is perfect for all departments. Any SME can easily create a lesson or an entire path complete with video, audio and hands-on exercises. It has greatly enhanced our onboarding and our product introductions, freeing up our instructor's time.
