Overall Satisfaction with Lessonly
We use Lessonly to train our frontline sales and service teams each week on topics they need to know about, such as new product launches, promotions, and other initiatives. Lessonly has been very helpful in ensuring our frontline teams receive consistent information. They are able to take lessons at their own pace, but their leaders can monitor progress, completions, and understanding.
Pros
- Their customer service is amazing! We have someone dedicated to our account, and she is quick to respond to any question, no matter how big or small.
- They do a great job of engaging their client base to ask for feedback. They have a client advisory board to collect feedback formally but are always open to informal feedback as well.
Cons
- Any platform change we'd like usually impacts all their clients. So sometimes it can be hard to advocate for a change unless other clients want it too.
- This is specific to knowledge check questions, but I'd love to more easily see the data related to those. Other question types have great reporting, but not knowledge checks.
- Decrease in time required for leaders to prepare for training because they no longer need to deliver it.
- Decrease in team huddle times because the online learning through Lessonly's platform has taken the place of that for many of our teams.
Besides SharePoint and LMS, we haven't used much else for training. When we looked at Lessonly, we did evaluate several other companies but I can't remember their names. Lessonly was by far the easiest to use from both a creator and an end-user perspective. It also had the reporting we were seeking.
