Overall Satisfaction with Lifesize Video Conferencing

The implementation was straightforward. They gave us the IP address and a tutorial.
We use Lifesize with our legacy endpoints for a site to site video conferencing. We also have users connect to conferences using the Lifesize Video Conferencing application installed on their laptops. We don't currently own any Lifesize hardware. Our entire organization uses Lifesize the same way. We occasionally use Lifesize for all hands meetings.
  • Inexpensive compared to other products.
  • Easy to manage.
  • Support sends notices when they experience issues.
  • Some sites drop calls often.
  • Compatibility with legacy endpoints isn't ideal.
  • Video quality is degraded at times.
  • Reduced need to have dedicated MPLS connections for video conferencing.
  • Much less expensive than our previous video conferencing provider.
  • Allows use of legacy endpoints. We weren't forced to buy Lifesize equipment.
Lifesize was less expensive than BlueJeans and worked well during the demos.
Lifesize Video Conferencing works well if you have dedicated bandwidth for video conferencing. However, we've experienced many dropped calls recently and are looking at alternatives.
