Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
We use it frequently to manage our research topics and organize papers. While it’s use has been narrowed to a specific branch of our research, we have been a big proponent of using it in more as time goes on. Beyond organization for ideas, we also use the comment feature to organize out notes for each branch of idea.
- UI and layout are easy for new users to follow.
- Team sharing and the ability to have multiple users working at once on the same project.
- Comments are great for not only feedback and small notes, but also for organizing relevant materials to a specific category.
- On larger charts, the service can become buggy and very slow.
- I want to see more integrated functionality for adding descriptions.
- Getting members access to the chart was a bit frustrating, as multiple attempts were required.
- Higher engagement from team members
- Easier organization of notes (saves time)
- Saves time with presentations, as a dedicated slide deck is not necessary
The Google integration is, by far, the most useful for my organization. Notes are initially written through Google, then copied and organized on Lucid, where they are processed again before a presentation
