Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft BI (MSBI)

  • Integration is straightforward to a variety of platforms using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is fast, flexible and extensive.
  • Native integration with Excel & Sharepoint provide a rich and familiar user interface for adoption.
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is not as extensive as it should or could be.
  • PerformancePoint has some great features such as the decomposition tree (for root cause analysis), but it is way too hard to deploy.
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Depth and range of solutions deployed
  • Future developments, such as PowerView, show an evolving platform that we can grow with.
  • Low-cost customer reporting automatically deployed monthly to add incremental benefit to our core products.
  • Integrated reporting packs provided to Customer Account Managers to enable them to identify revenue opportunities in consultation with our customers.
  • Deep dive analytics available from an industry perspective which allows us to provide widely read industry trends and position the Company as a respected and informed thought leader.
