Overall Satisfaction with Omnipresent

Being able to hire employees in any country filled a gap where we could not fill previously.
  • In app tool is good and easy to use
  • They previously had an amazing account management team
  • They moved quickly when we needed to hire an employee fast
  • Since the reduction in Staff, they are not as quick to respond
  • They need to implement into their platform a process around daily allowance for travelling employees
  • Vacation / sick-days could be managed a bit better

  • Upfront fees (no hiden fees)
  • Easy to use Platform with all features needed built into the platform (ie. salary, bonuses, travel, vacation, sick, etc. Everything HR needs to keep track of for employees. This is important for if layoffs or firing of employees occurs we need a record of sick days and vacation days used to date in order to calculate departing salary.
  • Account Manager - nice to speak to the same person/team rather than get new people every time you need help.
  • Absolutely worth the money if you are looking for talent outside of your current country.
  • Omnipresent does have a good grip, together with their partners, on the employment laws of each country. They do this well and resolve matters that would normally be difficult for a company to handle on their own if they do not have a corporate presence in the country of hire.
  • The currency exchange is a bit of a negative when exchanging currency of the employees salary to the currency you bill the customer. There should be a more streamlined process around this to avoid so many fees.
They were a 9 prior to layoffs internally, but of course downsizing meant that the response time was not as quick so today, I would give them a 6. But prior to the downsize, they were a 9 and awesome!!!
Remote, Global Velocity. We choose Omnipresent at the time due to the following reasons:
1) Cheaper.
2) Better customer service (offered a dedicated account manager).
3) Had a presence in all of the countries we wanted to hire an employee.
4) They believed speed was just important as we did when recruiting and hiring someone new. This was an important factor for us making sure we worked with a company who could get an employee signed quickly.

Best qualities of Omnipresent - They do not hide their fees, you know how much upfront you will need to pay for each employee in each country. Additionally, our Account Managers were knowledgable and had great resources at their fingertips to find out complicated employment processes in each country.

Improvement - Exchange currency fees for salaries not on EUR or USD. This can be costly. So good to know those costs in advance. Also, layoffs, the process around this should be more clear-cut and move a bit quicker. The slowness of partners in some countries can cause uneasy problems for the employees and the company.
