Overall Satisfaction with PracticePanther Law Practice Management
It is a central part of client management, from onboarding to completing and closing out the files. It centralizes and organizes client information and makes calendars, tasks, and workflows organized. It allows any person to be able to step into a file and catch up with ease with the next task and management of what is needed to be done.
- Workflows and task management.
- User interface and clarity of features.
- Customer service is expedient and helpful.
- There are some features that are available on one part of the software but not on others. E.g., when creating a task, you can add and make new tags. But during the creation of a workflow, when making a task, you can't make new tags. You have to make the task outside of the workflow space.
- An event whereby you can invite outside users/clients without creating a client portal.
- If the client portal was a bit more robust, I would like to use it. See the first item; I am unable to make tasks through workflows with links to be populated for my clients to make client task easier when I need to direct them to a different webpage to complete an item.
- I have been able to expedite time reviewing a file, organizing information so less time spent on workers.
- The automated organization through integrations, like dropbox, to organize all my matters in a uniform manner. Saves time.
- Ease of use has saved on training as instructions can be implemented directly on workflows. Saves time. Each time it saves a worker time, I am more efficient and my return on investment is apparent.
I used Clio and Clio Grow. What Practice Panther is missing is the side that Clio grows offers. A more robust way on the intake/marketing side. You can use mail chip with Practice Panther but that integration is limited. However, there is a much better software called Lawmatics that integrates directly with PracticePanther. For PracticePanther and Clio direct head to head, the workflows of task, billing and user interface have better ease of use. To do the same thing, PracticePanther requires fewer clicks to get it done. When you have to do the same tasks over and over, the less clicking the better.
