Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace

[The] Customer was trying to standardize and track cyclical and repetitive installation and/or integration processes of its software solution with clients and vendors in the financial services sector.
  • Intuitive and clean user experience
  • Simple and straight forward process (ie project) template
  • Good overall integration of Gantt, boards, resource tracking
  • Nice mobile apps
  • Template did not save time frames for task - or account for weekends (so had to be manually adjusted each time)
  • Does not easily share key plan data / views with users outside the system (even as snapshots).
  • No native integration with JIRA
  • Cost in certain situations
  • Provide standardization of process
  • Clear assignment and accountability for work
  • Better long term and overview of work
Projectplace was more usable and knitted together from the outset than as with Wrike or having to customize a lot of features and workflows as with JIRA.
Projectplace is well suited for both ad hoc and structured, cyclical projects (using templates). Not ideal for software development but I could see it also used in Agile workflows as a stretch if Gantt charting was important.
