Rhel is our primary web infrastructure provider. tomcat, jboss, etc
RHEL gives us easy fast secure web platform
RHEL gives us easy fast secure web platform
- fast, serves web pages very quickly
- secure, patch is easy and repeatable
- orchestration is quick
- disk managment I/o flexibility
- 3rd party driver implementation
- leaappp upgrade is not exactly easy
- it costs the same as windows so why not get the best, RH
- It reduces our footprint from number of windows servers to number of Linux servers to complete same tasks
