We started off using rubrik to backup our on-site estate. Utilising Cloud on for offsite DR in Azure
We then bought licenses for products called Radar and Sonar at the time.

We soon started using Rubrik Polaris for backing up other targets like the data in 365, suck as Mail, Onedrive,Teams,Sharepoint
We also trialed and purchased azure native backup.

- Simple to setup and configure
- Easy to Monitor and Maintain
- Recovery quick and simple
- Some Sharepoint folders are protected making it difficult to recover over the top
- Activity feed and progress of recovery not always clear
- Taken the task of backup and DR down from a multi person job to one that takes care of itself.
- Requirement of on-site DR location was replaced by Cloud storage location. Taking away news to manage/power/cool “cold” hardware.
Having all our backups under one umbrella made product management easier, with not need to manage myltip contracts.
The additional analysis of the data after the fact gave insights into our user data, without the need for an addition product, or the impact on live data sets.
