Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

We use RUN as our sole payroll administration. We do not use the HR portion, as our company is small enough that we do this in house. We love the ease of use and being able to run our payroll the day before payday. We use it across the whole US side of the company.

Pros

  • Ease of use.
  • Full payroll admin. Submitting tax reports and payments on our behalf.
  • Great tracking of PTO and sick time.
  • Customer service hours are great.

Cons

  • When there is an issue you have to call to fix it.
  • Payroll takes about 15 min each month, so it doesn't take any time away from other company functions.
  • Adding and terminating employees is easy.
ADP Run is above and beyond easier for small businesses. ADP Workforce Now is a great product but fits bigger companies. RUN is more payroll on demand, as it can run payroll the day before with a very short processing time. Connects the GL to your accounting software for extremely quick reconciliation. Great product.
Email support can be slow; it can take a few days to hear a response. Support is knowledgeable.
Wait times when you call in can get long, but if you call in first thing in the morning, wait times are so much shorter than in the afternoon.

If you are a small business and need payroll support, ADP's RUN is a great solution. It is easy to use so it will not take time away from other company functions, anyone can use it (doesn't have to be a payroll accountant or even an accounting). Customer service is always there to help and are knowledgeable in all things payroll and tax.
