Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct replaced QuickBooks for our accounting team and allowed us to grow as a company. We have built our other tools to work with Intacct and allow us to get up to date info at a glance. Mostly only our accounting team uses it, but with the dashboards we created, the whole company has access to the latest information.
  • Intacct stores all of our scanned documents as attachments so we can quickly see the invoices or deposits that were booked.
  • The UI is very easy to use and doesn't require a lot of training.
  • It is not flexible at all. When we need to change the address on an invoice, we have to delete the invoice and create a new one and we have to change the invoice date to the current month.
  • Inability to change minor details that don't affect ANYTHING is not there. Have to void payments or invoices and recreate them to make a small change. This should be controlled by the admin.
  • It has actually slowed down our invoice processing but I wouldn't say that is a bad thing considering we now have the right controls in place.
  • Intacct and its ability to work so well with other systems has dramatically improved our time spent producing manual reports. Our leaders now have up to date info at their fingertips.
It does not work well for our type of business since we handle retainer payments and we are also a pay on pay business. We have difficulties matching the invoices and incoming payments with the bills and outgoing payments that are related to them. Sounds easy but it isn't possible
