Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Intacct is being used by the accounting department & HR. It is essential to keeping our business running smoothly. We are able to do better reporting with statistical journal entries that we import in.

Pros and Cons

Bank Reconciliations
Credit Card Reconciliations
Dashboards

Paying bills
New bank reconciliation. You edit all journal entries from that screen
Credit card transactions can't be allocated/split amongst different locations

Return on Investment

We are now able to produce reports based on actual data from statistical journal entries versus using what was being reported by locations.
With Sage Intacct, we are able to have a better pulse on cash flow.
We are able to move at a faster pace in the accounting dept.

Ease of Integration

I'm giving it a 5, but that has more to do with the people who were hired to integrate us versus Sage itself. Our integration was very rocky and we didn't feel like we had the support we needed.

Alternatives Considered

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

QuickBooks is not as user friendly as Sage Intacct. Plus, it wasn't online, so we actually had to remote into a desktop where it was housed.

Likelihood to Recommend

Sage Intacct is very user friendly! Coming from QuickBooks it was a rocky transition, but now it's so much easier to navigate.
