Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Intacct is being used by the accounting department & HR. It is essential to keeping our business running smoothly. We are able to do better reporting with statistical journal entries that we import in.

Pros

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Dashboards

Cons

  • Paying bills
  • New bank reconciliation. You edit all journal entries from that screen
  • Credit card transactions can't be allocated/split amongst different locations
  • We are now able to produce reports based on actual data from statistical journal entries versus using what was being reported by locations.
  • With Sage Intacct, we are able to have a better pulse on cash flow.
  • We are able to move at a faster pace in the accounting dept.
I'm giving it a 5, but that has more to do with the people who were hired to integrate us versus Sage itself. Our integration was very rocky and we didn't feel like we had the support we needed.
QuickBooks is not as user friendly as Sage Intacct. Plus, it wasn't online, so we actually had to remote into a desktop where it was housed.
Sage Intacct is very user friendly! Coming from QuickBooks it was a rocky transition, but now it's so much easier to navigate.
