Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use it for AP, AR, projects, and bank rec. We do not have any third-party software integrating.
Pros
- Ability to edit journal entries
- Dashboards
- JE templates
Cons
- A cash receipt report or CRJ that ties to my daily bank activity when transaction adjustment for a fee (i.e., credit card fee).
- Editable reporting to eliminate or adjust fields so things fit appropriately.
- Make custom reporting more user-friendly. Too many options. Fields available that don’t pull data. We were sold on an amazing custom reporting system, and we avoid it as much as possible because it’s not easy to use.
- In my experience, AP check payments take longer than previously. AP associate has to run multiple reports and merge together to get a list of vendors/bills to pay.
- In my experience, month-end financial reports take longer to process. Have to export individual reports to excel because they cannot fit on one printable page.
- Overall, I feel our processes take longer than in our previous outdated version of Sage 100. No ROI.
No, we do not utilize any automation. We had a lot of issues during implementation and honestly do not trust the system enough to automate.
