Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Used for business intelligence, showcasing the trends, etc., for the client. Since this is a cloud-based tool, it is the need of the hour, and as it is a product from SAP, there are hardly any issues with it. I had also used Tableau previously, but SAP Analytics Cloud seems more user-friendly. However, it will be further helpful if there is quick support with occasional issues faced.

SAP Analytics Cloud is one of the simplest tools for a digital marketer like me. This is a powerful tool helping forecasting, budget allocations, and optimization of campaigns. KPI benchmarks can also be done along with the dashboard creations. The integration with our data sources helps our raw reports turn more colorful and presentable to the clients.

One single factor cannot be considered when choosing a tool that helps with forecasting, budgeting, KPI analysis, etc. However, the reporting dashboard is the best in the business. The interactiveness helps in understanding the insights from the raw report much more quickly and easily. The support is slower but is better than other tools.

Tableau Desktop

Firstly the support is much much better than the other platform used by me. The interactive and user-friendliness and also the fact it is a product from one of the leading software companies is a key reason to recommend this tool. The tool, I'm sure will evolve and be friendlier on mobile too.
