Use Cases and Deployment Scope

we use it for expensing costs back to the company that the employees paid for. often, employees have to pay out of pocket for expenses and we use concur for approving and managing paying back the employees for those expenses. i don't think most people use tripit, but we do have access to it.

statuses don't always make sense
no explanation of cost codes when the name of them isn't detailed enough
can't tell when expenses are going to be paid

It's easy for me to submit expenses because it's standardized. Our statuses leave something to be desired, but at least they exist and likely could be customized by our finance team.

It's well suited for employees who need to incur out of pocket expenses and have an easy way to submit those expenses for reimbursement, where the employees are known by management to have these expenses.
It's not well suited for employees that are unfamiliar with the information needed to do the submission - there is a small level of training required.
