Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
In my current organization, we are moving towards SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Currently, we have migrated some of our business processes in Finance and we are now in the process of implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud MDG solution to address our Master Data issues. We have a lot of Master Data issues currently and we are working on the MDG solution to build business Rules for derivation, validation and bringing governance process to have correct data for materials to enable planners to do efficient planning in supply chain management.
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud-based fuzzy search - Makes it a lot easier to search and work on specific material/SKU.
- Efficient Fiori Apps - The Fiori Apps that come with the standard SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product and MDG are super role oriented and can get things working very fast with good user experience.
- Performance - Use of CDS and procedures increases performance.
- Data consolidation features to remove duplicates in the data.
- Integration with other Cloud platforms like Azure without using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Platform.
- OAuth2 + SAML authentication should work with a different identity provider, so that AAD and other identity providers can be used without much of hiccups, like an out of box solution.
- Flexibility in designing cool UX, like adding dynamic tiles based on saved searches in the launchpad.
- Strong infrastructure connectivity.
- The migration of the current processes to SAP S/4HANA Cloud system with current data is difficult and we have faced a couple of challenges. especially in key mapping and G/L account creation.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the latest and works fast. It uses the integrated platform that SAP has always used and that works really well in setting up the business processes from scratch really fast.
